Conduct a systematic assessment of all rodents, bats, marsupials, and shrews in Northern Mesoamerica using expert opinion and established criteria for evaluating threat and conservation for each species. Data will be combined with other species assessments to evaluate all mammalian species in the region for the 2007 IUCN Red List.
