Determine the areas in greatest need of protection, and threats to their existence, within the Massif de la Hotte Key Biodiversity Area, Haiti. This project, in its second phase from a previous grant to Pennsylvania State University, involves developing self-sustaining education and public outreach activities that will reach both Haitians and non-Haitians through survey and threat assessment work, in collaboration with Société Audubon Haiti and Haitian government officials.

Strategic Direction: 1 Improve protection and management of 45 priority key biodiversity areas
