Establish a steering committee with local representatives, authorities and government entities in the Bisri Valley area for the protection of the Bisri Valley’s biodiversity and the reduction of river pollution caused by agricultural waste. This project will work to declare the Bisri Valley as a Natural Reserve, a Key Biodiversity Area and a RAMSAR site and will develop a management plan for the site.

This project benefits from a co-founding by the Donor Initiative for Mediterranean Freshwater Ecosystems (DIMFE).
