Address the urgent threat posed to the KBA by road upgrading and stone quarries. Produce a report on on-going quarrying and road upgrade activities; feature the issues in the local/national media; sensitize stone merchants, road constructors, County government and law enforcers on environmental safeguards and regulations; and develop a joint monitoring programme involving all stakeholders.
Strategic Direction : 2 Improve the protection and management of the KBA network throughout the hotspot.
