Assess the distribution of the near-endemic and threatened Iris atrofusca and Iris lortetii in in the North Eastern Slope. Establish in-situ conservation sites and conservation seed collection activities. Increase the knowledge and skills of young volunteers of different sectors from the local community. Support the integration of plant conservation into future management plans and conservation framework of Key Biodiversity Areas and protected areas in Palestine.

Strategic Direction: 4 Strengthen the engagement of civil society to support the conservation of plants that are critically endangered or have highly restricted ranges
