Reinforce knowledge and monitoring of Maire (Erica numidica), a rare and endemic species, restricted to Eastern Numidia and threatened with extinction. Gather knowledge on the ecology, distribution and habitats of this taxon. Given its very small population size, the taxon is proposed to be included among the taxa in critical danger of extinction in Algeria.

Strategic Direction: 4 Strengthen the engagement of civil society to support the conservation of plants that are critically endangered or have highly restricted ranges
