Provide capacity support to select conservation CBOs in Bougainville. The chosen CBOs are carrying out conservation and environment activities in or close to the KBA sites in Bougainville. Assistance will be provided in the form of joint workshops and one on one mentoring on topics covering governance, financial processes and project management. The project will culminate in a stakeholder workshop on Bougainville to promote conservation activities on the island.

Strategic Direction: 4 Increase local, national and regional capacity to conserve biodiversity through catalyzing civil society partnerships
