Improve the management of the protected area by involving the community in the protection of natural resources through intensive patrol and surveillance activities. Address the community's declining purchasing power in the face of COVID-19; the project plans to diversify income through the promotion of beekeeping (a combination of traditional and modern hives), agroforestry (moringa and fruit trees), and the production of indigenous seedlings by beneficiary households.

Strategic Direction: 1 Empower local communities to protect and manage biodiversity in priority key biodiversity areas.
