Support the creation of the first municipal reserve in Haiti, for the protection of several species, including the Critically Endangered Ricord's iguana (Cyclura ricordi). This includes the scientific monitoring of the last Haitian population of Ricord's iguana, together with local NGO 'Jenes Ansapit,' development of a management plan integrating the needs of local herdsmen, and awareness raising and environmental education for the communities of Anse-a-Pitre.
