Support the Red Listing of 500 endemic plants species in the Tropical Andes Hotspot and update its key biodiversity areas (KBAs) to incorporate new Red Listed reptiles, fish, amphibians and plants. IUCN will work with four Andean organizations to ensure strong local engagement in data compilation and analysis, consultations and dissemination. Project products will be use for conservation and development planning and for compliance with international conventions and biodiversity strategies.
