Provide strategic leadership and local knowledge to build a broad constituency of civil society groups working across institutional and geographic boundaries toward achieving the conservation goals described in the ecosystem profile. Establish and coordinate a process for solicitation of small grant applications, ensure sub-grantee applicant eligibility and capacity to comply with CEPF funding terms, convene experts to evaluate proposals, award grants of $50,000 or less, manage the grant contracting and disbursal of funds, and monitor, track, and document small grant technical and financial performance.

Strategic Direction: 5 Support Caribbean civil society to conserve biodiversity by building local, national and regional institutional capacity and fostering stakeholder collaboration
