Improve knowledge and conservation of the flora in Djerba Island, especially the endemic Limonium formosum. A participatory plan for the creation of a micro-reserve will be conducted for the conservation of L. formosum. The project will also contribute to the emergence of a young botanist through the preparation of a master, in partnership with the agriculture institute, support the capacity building of five local NGOs and improve public awareness about plant conservation in Djerba.

Strategic Direction: 4 Strengthen the engagement of civil society to support the conservation of plants that are critically endangered or have highly restricted ranges
