Implement priority management actions in the Hellshire Hills and Portland Ridge key biodiversity areas of Jamaica and build institutional and fundraising capacity of Caribbean Coastal Area Management Foundation (C-CAM). Key aspects of the project include support for co-management of the protected areas, improved development planning in light of plans to build a large port facility, adaption to climate change, development of sustainable livelihoods, ex situ conservation of threatened plants, feasibility assessment for implementing conservation agreements, conservation monitoring, and financial sustainability of the Portland Bight and of C-CAM.
