Prepare a new management plan with a strong focus on species conservation for the Cotapata National Park. This grant supports a needs assessment taking into consideration threats, priority species, local communities, livelihoods potential (focusing on ecotourism); a new zoning plan; a conservation strategy; and capacity building to operatize the new management plan.

Strategic Direction: 1 Improve protection and management of 36 priority KBAs to create and maintain local support for conservation and to mitigate key threats.
